About this event

This three part workshop features some of Ottawa's engaging, dynamic marketing professionals:

Mallory Rowan is a young entrepreneur and social-media guru and influencer with a degree from Carleton University in Journalism and Business. She’ll walk us through how to build an influencer strategy, and how to strategically use your team’s capacity on social media.

MediaStyle is a progressive public relations firm that has helped CanWaCH, and particularly the Lead on Canada campaign, grow our engagement through creative content and online platforms. They’ll be speaking on how non-profits can save with DIY marketing and where you can focus spending on outside contractors to maximize limited budgets.

After these presentations, we'll be putting what we've learned into practice and diving into some of the most exciting free apps and platforms to create sparkling digital content. As non-profit professionals, we're champions of DIY marketing on a dime, but there is always more to learn! You will leave this workshop with the knowledge of how to make your own polls, infographics, videos, and social media posts...for FREE!

Make sure to bring your laptops for this portion of the afternoon, so you can participate in the hands-on training.

Please register in advance.
